The biggest civic afternoon of the year is today. Santa Clarita’s 2026 State of the City, “Rolling Into the Future,” runs 3 to 6 p.m. at the brand-new Rink Sports Pavilion, 20860 Centre Pointe Parkway.

The whole event doubles as a coming-out party for The Rink, the city’s new home for roller skating, sports and family fun. The City Council recaps the year and previews what’s ahead in presentations and videos, then it’s music, light bites and refreshments while you check out the new digs. Tickets were $45 a person ($450 a table), and every guest gets a commemorative gift.
